Rims are such an eye-catchirrg part of the dcsign that the team knew they couldn't truly recreate the car if they didn't replicate is rims. After painstaking experimentation, drum-lacquening was used to coat the elements in the golden color to match the perect glossiness and finish of the actual rims.
